Celebration 2022 is Leadership Jacksonville’s 27th annual event to honor outstanding community leaders while raising funds for Youth Leadership Jacksonville.

Patrick (Pat) Geraghty

Pat is the past chair of the Florida Council of 100, a member of the board of the National Institute of Health Care Management, the American Cancer Society, Pardee Rand Graduate School, America’s Health Insurance Plans and Tampa Electric Co. (TECO). Within the Northeast Florida community, he currently serves on the board of MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation, is past board chair of United Way of Northeast Florida, was honorary chair of the 2019 American Cancer Society’s Making Strides of Jacksonville walk.
Julia (JuJu) Taylor
LJ Class of 1978
JuJu is past Director of Community Affairs and Assistant Vice President for Institutional Advancement at the University of North Florida; past State Director of Development, PACE Center for Girls, Inc; and past Director, Boutique and Agenda, Stein Mart, Inc. She currently serves as a Trustee of The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida, the Delores Barr Weaver Policy Center Leadership Council; the Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless Advisory Board, and is president of Weave Tales, Inc. JuJu has also served as president of the Women’s Giving Alliance; Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless, Inc.; Barnabas, Inc; Junior League of Jacksonville, Inc. and the State of Florida Guardian ad Litem, Fourth Judicial Circuit. She served as First Vice President of the Association of Junior Leagues International and on the national board of the Court Appointed Special Advocate Association.
Leon Haley (posthumously)
Former CEO, UF Health Jacksonville

Leon came to Jacksonville in 2017 after working at Emory University-Grady Hospital in Atlanta. He was hired as the Dean of the Medical School of the University of Florida Jacksonville and was soon appointed CEO of University of Florida Health Jacksonville. Leon served in many leadership/volunteer roles including serving as a board member of the JEA, JAX Chamber, Jacksonville Civic Council, The American Hospital Association Urban Sustainability, Florida Hospital Association, The Florida Safety Alliance, The Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education, The American Board of Emergency Medicine and the Griffith Leadership Center at the University of Michigan. He was a member of the Omega Psi Phi and Sigma Pi Phi Fraternities.
