Jill Langford Dame, Chief Executive Officer

Jill Langford Dame joined the Leadership Jacksonville staff in May, 2013. She is a graduate of Queens University of Charlotte (B.A. cum laude, English and History); the University of Florida, College of Law (J.D. with honors) and Jacksonville University (Master of Arts in Teaching). Jill’s previous employment has included the practice of law, teaching, work as a consultant for nonprofit organizations and work as an interim executive director for nonprofits. Jill has been actively involved in the Jacksonville community serving as president of the Junior League of Jacksonville, PACE Center for Girls Jacksonville, the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida, Girls on the Run of Northeast Florida and Willing Hands. Jill chaired the implementation task force for JCCI’s 1998 study The Role of Nonprofit Organizations and chaired JCCI’s Children 1-2-3 Study. She currently sits on the board of the Jacksonville Public Library. Jill is an alumna of Leadership Jacksonville (Class of 1987) and a member of the Jacksonville Women’s Network, The Meninak Club of Jacksonville and the Florida Bar. Jill is a past recipient of the Junior League of Jacksonville’s Tillie Fowler Community Leadership Award; Leadership Jacksonville’s Distinguished Leadership Award; JCCI’s 2005 Milestones Award for work as Chair of the Role of Nonprofit Organizations Study Implementation; and was named Folio Weekly’s Person of the Year in 2001. Jill was chosen as a 2013 Woman of Distinction by Girl Scouts of Gateway Council and as a 2014 Woman of Influence by the Jacksonville Business Journal. Jill and her husband Peter have twin daughters, Brooks and Darby.

Nicole B. Bryan, Adult Program Coordinator

Nicole Bryan is the newest staff member at Leadership Jacksonville, joining as the Adult Program Coordinator in June 2015.Nicole is an honors graduate from Hollins University, Roanoke, VA. Her prior work experience includes serving as a development officer for The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida; an assistant vice president for Wachovia Bank, NA in Winston Salem, NC, and as a customer service representative for Enterprise National Bank. Nicole has been an active volunteer in her church and at her children’s school, most recently serving as board chair from 2011-2013 for the St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School Board of Trustees. At the school she oversaw a capital campaign, led a head of school serach committee, and led a strategic planning committee that completed and implemented a five year strategic plan. Nicole and her husband Jeff have two daughters, Klare and Bella. Nicole and Jeff co-own Crossfit West Jax.

Meg Folds, Youth Programs Director

Meg Phillips Folds, Youth Programs Director for Leadership Jacksonville, manages Leadership Jacksonville’s Youth Leadership Jacksonville and Collegiate Leadership Experience programs. Prior to joining Leadership Jacksonville in 2002, Mrs. Folds had twenty years of sales management in the telecommunications sector. In addition to her professional roles, Mrs. Folds has served many community organizations including the Junior League of Jacksonville (President 2001-2002), the Rotary Club of San Marco (Charter President), Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Girls Inc. (Past President), Leadership Jacksonville Class of 1999, Memorial Park Association Board of Trustees, Jacksonville Women’s Network and served as a Salvation Army Celebrity Chef. Meg has been honored to receive the AT&T Community Service Award, Junior League of Jacksonville Pam Paul Award and Tillie K. Fowler Awards, as well as the Rotary District 6970 Service Above Self Award and Rotarian of the Year. Meg is an alumna of The Bolles School. She graduated from Stetson University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Political Science. She did post graduate work at FSU and UNF. She is married to Jim Folds and they are proud parents of Chris, a graduate of FSU and UNF. Jim and Meg reside in Avondale with Abby, their yellow Labrador. In her spare time, she loves entertaining and playing Bunco.

Yvonne Moore, Administrative Assistant

Yvonne Moore has served as Leadership Jacksonville’s Administrative Assistant since 2009. Prior to joining Leadership Jacksonville, she worked with the nonprofit Kesler Mentoring Connection and the City of Jacksonville. Yvonne graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and did post-graduate study in guidance and counseling at the University of Guam. Following graduation, she worked in human resources for the U.S. Department of Navy, but left after 10 years to be a stay-at-home mom, raise four children, and follow her career military husband Gary to various duty stations in the U.S. and abroad. During the “Navy” years, Yvonne participated on military base advisory boards, served as aircraft carrier’s ombudsman, and volunteered in her local churches and children’s schools. Re-joining the workforce when the children were older, Yvonne found opportunities in the banking and finance arenas where she served as a credit union branch manager, facility manager for a budget/loan assistance organization, and provided financial counseling assistance for the elderly.The family settled permanently in Jacksonville when Gary retired from military service in 1995. They continue to enjoy cultural and recreational activities the Jacksonville area has to offer, but look for opportunities to visit the children and grandchildren scattered throughout the country.
